I'm watching it and noticed that mine is missing the passenger side mount but oh well. It's all about supply vs demand with these things?
Welcome by the way

Thanks ALVY, maybe new to you guys , BUT not new to cubs, I'm 36 Yrs old and have been playing with these things since I was 7!! I have about 75-80 IH built cubs, Ebay Never ceases to amaze me, I just go to old IH dealers and score stuff for my own collection, get to see the country side and save alot of $$$ that way.

ALVY, I had a NOS 800 Muffler in the IH box, never even opened till I found it and it did not have the mounting bracket on it either, it was a Nelson, the NOS 800 Muffler I have now is IH stamped in the Original box and Does have the mounting bracket, I don't know the rhyme or reason why some did and some did not , that's just what I seen/had over the years. Alot of the time the brace/bracket didn't line up right anyhow

Too much, It will go for too much. But hey if you want to be as original as possible. I'm going to have to look for a 169 muffler here soon, or one that looks like it. No way i'm going to pay for what the NOS went for a while back.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
