Default Interchanging parts ?

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, if not could someone move it to the correct area?

I'm wondering if a 3 point hitch from a 107 will fit a 149?

Thanks for any input!

Thanks I have a 107 with a bad trans, and other problems. I found a 149 with a mower deck, and front plow for 600 bucks. I was thinking of buying it, but I need a 3 point hitch for my implements. What's available for the 149 model? Only the U shaped bracket on the trans? I want to use it for plowing.
And thanks for the welcomes.

No, the upper part is out there. But the 149 is a wide frame, and the 107 is a narrow frame. They use different "rockshafts" (for lack of what else to call it). The 149 also uses a different bar. Put an ad in the wanted section. Or try the sponsors at the top.

Why not fix the 107? The hydro trans VERY seldom fails. Usually the relief valves with are easy to change and can be bought rebuilt for less than $100. Or, if it truly is bad, a used hydro usually brings $100-$125. Rear end parts about the same. WAY cheaper than buying another tractor that will probably need some attention.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
