Before I start ordering parts.....
Are the PTO springs supposed to be bent like this or flat?
I don't know what's up with this thing. I finally decided to bite the bullet and fix it, after getting it apart the fiber looks brand new, has a Taiwan bearing that is dragging and has a mushroomed hole, the thrust button and three fingers are really worn and the whole assembly was rusted together. It looks like someone tried to rebuild it but had something wrong. I know the thrust button, fingers and bearing will need to be replaced. Having never seen one apart I didn't know if the springs were supposed to be bent like this or if it is supposed to be flat. The way it came apart is hard to describe, the springs were pushed in if that makes any since. From the way it was assembled I don't see how it was supposed to move at all. From my reading this is a Type B PTO off of my 86 if that matters. Any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks.
