Anyone know what an OEM power angle kit might be worth these days, can't find any out there for reference. It's IH number 190-378-100. Got one I'm getting ready to put on Craigslist.

I would guess $150-$200 there is one that sold on Ebay under the completed listings under "Hydraulic Blade Angle" for $200 back in April.

Sell for what you want boys. I'm always the one who argues prices on here, so I will do it again... $150-$200 is high for a couple brackets and a small cylinder. Don't be like everyone else on e-bay jackin the prices. $125 max IMHO. There was a 169 muffler that sold a while back for what, like $480? Doesn't make them worth that.

Thanks guys. I agree with J-Mech, some of the parts are ridiculously priced , but at times I've had no choice but to pay the ridiculous prices. Paid almost $40 I think for the hydro cooling fan at cubcadet.com, there was nothing else on eBay, and Patton Acres was selling a used one for $29. A piece of plastic like that should be $10 max. So if you find the right person at the right time with the right amount of cash in their pocket I can see how you could get $500 for a muffler. But you're right , it doesn't make it worth that.
Found another completed sale for same kit for $325.Probably same situation , right person, right time. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
