And why would you need that? That machines steers very nicely. If yours does not, there are issues with your steering linkage, tie rod ends or gear. Jack up the front end and see how it operates.

That would qualify as a very good reason. Even if it were at all possible it would probably be more cost effective to buy a tractor with PS already on it.
Have you considered a knob for the steering wheel?

Would a change in the steering wheel help? A larger size or perhaps a "spinner knob"? But let me add this. With a bit of creation, I think that a linear actuator could fit the bill, eliminating the steering wheel and replacing it with a two position switch, joystick style. The response could be a bit slower, but you could easily adjust to that. And there is a lot of creativity here on this site so perhaps others can chime in with an idea. I think this is a worthy challenge.

I would suggest that you look for a Super, or an 1864 they have PS and hyd lift. Downside may be the hand control for the trans. It's on the right side.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
