Log splitter conversion from electric to PTO?
Would it be possible to convert this little log splitter to run off a rear right angle gear box using the PTO on a 1450?
http://www.amazon.com/WEN-56206-6-To.../dp/B00IKDC6A6 Im thinking its light enough to make a rear hitch mount but not sure about running it off of the PTO instead of the electric motor is has currently.

I'm gonna say no. It appears that the ram on the splitter is a lead screw and has to run in reverse to make it retract. No way to make the gear box on the tractor run in both directions.
