Has anyone on here ever found a hyd cyl that will work on the Haban power angle blade? I have looked through Surplus Center website and also checked where I work, we probably have 100 different models, but no luck. If one ever shows up on eBay, the price is totally through the roof. Seems like someone found one a couple years back that worked, but can't find anything on it now.
Thanks |

Try searching " haban cylinder dimensions " on this forum for the cylinder size. I don't know how to post the link here.

I copied this from someones' post a few months ago.
Retracted length - 14" Extended length - 21-1/2" Rod diameter - 1-1/8" Tube diameter (excluding the end pieces) - 1-3/4" I'm guessing it's 1-3/8" bore, but 1-1/2" |

thanks guys,
Those dimensions are pretty close to what I measured on my blade while I manually rotated it from left to right. So, I think we are in the ballpark there, now just need to find a cylinder. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
