Tire Chains. ATV "Diamond

I realize the Tire Chain topic has been beaten up already but I see much of the talk is "4 link" or "2 link". No one has mentioned this Diamond configuration. I wonder if these would work better. My Cub came with 4 link chains and when you get close to getting down to blacktop I should wear a Mouth guard to keep my teeth from chattering. Has anyone used these?

that is a popular chain type for larger farm tractors, they work well and do run a little smoother.

The price of chains surprises me too.
I'm looking at $800ish for the rears of my big tractor. about $300 for the fronts. I keep asking Santa but he says they are too heavy for his reindeer to carry.

I havent tried those chains but if you had the tires shown in that ad you wouldnt need the chains, I have atv tires with very similar lug pattern on my snowplow machine, no chains, run about 6lbs of air and wheel weights but they arent filled... very rare to see them spin. Better than any ag tire Ive tried on a garden tractor... and you can often find good atv tires cheap on kijiji or craigs... $20-$40 each.
Any chains will rattle your teeth, and shakin old tractors like that is hard on them also, works in a pinch but I dont like using any chains on any tractor.
