I don't like using that stuff. I have but very very sparingly! Only cub I used it on was when my engine me was worn out and wouldn't start. When it wouldn't I knew it was time for a overhaul! Be careful with that stuff!! Easy to blow an engine!

I expect he is. When I have something that don't start I prime it using gas mixed for 2 cycle. The oil in it helps lube the cylinder during startup.

Saw the shop foreman blow the plastic valve covers off a 3.8 ford Taurus years ago. They hit the roof of the shop 14 or 16 foot high. Engine had jumped time and would almost catch, so out came the starting fluid. Boom!! I was working on a car in the next bay and couldn't stop laughing.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
