Default Illinois/Iowa boys; get your Cubs ready for this weekends snow!

Just thought I'd throw this out there as I've been following this weekends snow very closely. Here's a couple prediction maps for this weekends snowfall between Saturday night and Sunday morning/early afternoon. Hope y'all are ready with some gas/diesel in the can and some warm clothes!

Here in Whiteside county, it's looking like 4-6 (if things don't change). That, combined with the wind, may just mean the 451 gets its first chance to shine this season. Call me odd but I'm hoping we get hammered pretty good; nothing like some serious snow clearing time in the Cub. Be safe out there guys, whatever happens

That storm is supposed to be here in NY/PA area Sunday night. There only calling for a few inches in my area, but the majority of the storm will be to the south.

Looks like 6-8 here and thats what news just said. The cub may have to take a back seat on this one and just clean up. The old roper walk behind may get yanked outta the back of the shed

I got a couple inch last night up here in Alberta, and its still coming down, but, forecast is above freezing again later in the week so it wont last long. I might have a couple drifts to clear but most of the driveway is still clear just from the wind.

I am in the 8" area, so just went out and plugged in the 1572, so tomorrow she will be ready to blow a little smoke along with the snow. BRING IT ON!

Got the 1572 topped off with fuel today. Don't think I will run it until Monday afternoon. For me they are saying 2-4 by midnight Sunday with a total of 6-12 by Monday afternoon. Going to pick up a new project car tomorrow so I'm hoping I can get back and get it put away before the snow comes.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
