I picked up another car this past Sunday morning and I didn't beat the storm back to my house by much. It's a '89 Trans am GTA with only 55,000 miles, just needs an engine. This one's getting a LS1 with 4L60E trans. Car has zero rust. Usually when you remove the T-Tops on these cars you can find rust from leaky T-tops, but this one is clean. The interior is also near perfect. The car looks like it has never seen salt, until I brought it home on the trailer and gave it a nice salt bath. I got a good deal on it. It's like buying a sled in the middle of summer.

Nice car! I was a Pontiac fan in my yonger days and had a 77 Formula 400. I remember looking at that exact car new at a dealership in Rockville MD 1989 and IIRC it was like $25k. I also remember going to a dealer that had 19 Buick Grand Nationals on the lot.
Shoulda woulda coulda. Congrats, that will be nice when complete.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
