AFAIK, there were no models that came with it as "standard" equipment. It was an option on all models that had hydraulic lift, but it turns out to be not that common.
As for more how-to info beyond that, others will be along shortly to help out. From what I've read (as I will be doing this this year to my 1864 as well), you "simply" stack the valves with adapter and appropriate o-rings, get your hoses, route them, and violla. Hoses will be the hard part, though; they aren't standard thread. You can either find someone selling the remote hoses on ebay and buy them or open up the valve and tap it to standard threading, then go to your Napa or wherever and have hoses made. That's about all the detail I can get into right now at work. I'm heading out the door but that should give you a pretty good idea what you're in for ![]()

Not sure if they came from the factory, pretty sure it was a dealer installed kit. It shows in the service manual. I can e-mail you a copy if you PM me with your e-mail address.

If you have the valve and adapter it's easy. Just stack the valve. Cut the dash and you've got it. Doing this on a cyclops seems way easier than an 82 series. I am going to put a remote on my 2284 for a grapple. I would then just have napa make up some lines and get the quick connects from farm and fleet.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
