We got about 5" of rain yesterday afternoon. Area had some flooding. The outlet pipe on my pond couldn't handle the flow and the dam overtopped, luckily it didn't wash out or my driveway would probably be gone. I think a spillway is in the cards for this year.

We didn't get that much here in Ill..... but it rained all day yesterday here too. I was gonna mow my hay-field of a yard.
Probably have to bale it after I finally get it cut for the first time. I feel your pain Sam.

We got heavy rain over night and this morning. Really helped the boys with the forest fire about a mile from me. The fire destroyed about 500 acres of the mountain but didn't get any houses and (thank God) no one got hurt. This side of the mountain is really rough.

We have had 5" in the last week, 1 1/2 last night. No flooding since it's spread out enough to run off. Had 3" two weeks ago so just as it started to dry last week ended that. Been rained on off and on today so no drying going on. Chance of rain middle of the week on, I need to dry out. I haven't worked in over two weeks, this is getting old fast.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
