Default How to make bigger pictures

Every time I put on a picture it's small compared to most of the others. What do I need to do to get the full page width ones like you all get?
Don't get technical with me, unless it's included with full details on how it's done.
THANKS

If you attach an image using the "attachment option" above the posting window, it will reduce down to fit.

If you want to maintain the image size and resolution, then upload your images to a Photo Storage site, (ie: Photobuket). Use the "links" they provide and then copy & paste into the body of your thread. You get original size and resolution.

Exactly what Roland said.

When uploaded to OCC via the "Attach Image" option, it reduces size.

If you want the full size big boy pics, head over to a free image hosting site and create an account. Photobucket is a popular one or give the one I use a shot. http://postimg.org/ it's got a lot less bells and whistles which is the way I like it. Upload your image, copy the image link, and paste it into your post.

If you have any questions how to do any of that, post back and we'll help you

.

I use photobucket and it works good for me, I can take several pics and have them posted here in just a few minutes. Here's a few reasons why I like it:

I take all my pics with my phone. With only a couple easy clicks I upload my pics directly to my photobucket account via my gmail account. It doesn't get any easier than this.

When I post from my computer, I go to my photobucket account and it will allow me to select the photos I want to post. Once I have them clicked, I click on only 1 button and it copies the links for ALL the pics at once and I just paste what it copies in to my post. So basically if you want like 10 pics in your post, all you do is select the 10 pics you want and click only 1 button and they all get copied to paste into your post. Some forums have limitations as to how many pics can go in one single post, I haven't tested this forum yet.

I *think* photobucket has an option to choose what size you want your pics to be when you upload them. I set mine up years ago so I don't remember what size I used, but I went with a size big enough to see clearly but not too big to be offensive.

Here is a sample of the size I use http://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=38425

Somewhat related - I do a similar thing for videos I post to forums. I record the video on my phone. Click 2 buttons to email it to my youtube account. Then just copy the link from youtube and post in the forum.

Todd, do you use a phone to take your pictures or a digital camera?

I may make a video later of how easy it is to post from photobucket to here.

Yeah, I use a camera. Haven't got out of the flip phone, and don't care to.
Thanks for the advice. I'll see what I can figure out.
The uploading to youtube for videos here is a joke. Uploaded a 28 second video and it took almost 40 minuets. We're lucky we have "high-speed" internet out here, er' that's what the carrier calls it......

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
