Got a nice John Deere 316. The one with dual hydraulics and brakes. I think I'm going to paint the green bits. Got 2 decks with it too. Only 150 for it. I thought it was a pretty good deal. I'm rewiring the electric pto clutch today and get that set. But the engine runs good, trans is good, deck it good. Should be a nice little runner.

Why do you insist on stirring the pot? Did it ever occur to you that maybe just maybe Jon was trying to be helpful when he posted the link to WFM for Justin?

I am not stirring the pot, did it ever occur to you that maybe just maybe Jon doesn't like Justin? because of his tone, he is not trying to be helpful as far as I'm concerned, he even told me he singles him out on purpose. Maybe your right that he was trying to help. |

Jeez Jon, Sam, it's a little rediculas that you guys would say this. I did put this on the general talk section. So I thought it would be fine to talk about what I got. This bickering crap needs to stop. Jon, I think it be best if you just leave me alone and I leave you alone and cool down some. I thought I put this in the right section. Because I thought we could talk about anything on the general talk. Todd had up his husky, so I don't see what the big deal of me putting something about a john deere. You guys helped him out too. So....

I still don't see any pics of said Deere, or anyone commenting about it. I just see a couple of kids with smart mouths. Pics, comments about the tractor or thread will be closed.
Justin: Although we tend to be lenient on religious postings, and I personally have no problem with it, I don't know that this is the place for your signature. Perhaps just putting "John 3:16" would be more suitable for this forum. We do have rules, and I again I don't personally have a problem with your viewpoint..... but it is against the rules. |

I think you are the one with the smart mouth, you have some nerve to say that, don't say stuff on here that you wouldn't say to their face, and then it's closed to get the last word in, got it!

General talk area for chit-chat, etc. I don't think it hurts to talk about an off topic tractor every once in awhile. Don't think every thread should be about off topic tractors, but some cub guys are into other brands and vice versa.
Why do we have a Firearms, Motorcycle, RC cars, and Hunting and Fishing sticky here? Those aren't cub related........ Don't see where this is any different..................

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
