Default Guys you will NOT beleive this!!!

Well today I was at my uncles hangin out with the puppies when an older buddy of mine calls me up and says he had a guy that wants to GIVE AWAY a John Deere 316, with mower and snowblower. And I just got a 316, so now I can sell one and keep one. What I'd really like to do is sell both and see if I can get a cub with a mower blade and snowblower. I've been really wanting one with a lift. Even though I don't "really" need another tractor or so my dad says.

Those old 316s are pretty good machines. And sell for decent money. Good find

Oh ya, thanks cubby. They are very good machines. I'm glad I got the snowblower too. But you can't be FREE! These JDs must love me or something, I'm getting them for such a good price or free.

If you are trying to match/compare that 316 you would have to be in the 18xx GT series. Onan P218s are getting rarer by the day, if they have low hours and good compression they are gold.

Justin

Sounds like you made out great with the JD's, you should be able to make some $$$$ if you sell them. Happy for you.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
