Was great to finally meet the infamous Lew, the two hour ride was worth the price of admission Got a "Lew Deal" on a couple of things I need to finish my Ebay 1641 project. Had a great time watching him dig though the mountains of Cub parts......"I know I put that somewhere". I was also allowed to see the Cub Cadet bedroom with all the little cubs peacefully sleeping in rows wrapped in there clean white sheets. This guy has Yellow fever BAD.

Thumbs up

I prefer to call it an action shot, parts was flyin'! I needed a WIDE angle lens to capture the whole operation or one of those cars that shoots pictures for Google maps. The collection just went on and on and on and...........!

Hey Lew! Put the new deck on this afternoon, it went right on with no problems, the belt was correct and I cleaned it up, sharpened the blades then tried it out on the back yard. It lifts very straight and give a nice even cut, it is definitely a good match for this tractor. I'm another satisfied customer of Mr. Cyclops mower world. I also found a great little general store on the ride home that had fabulous homemade fresh baked pies, good thing You don't live closer or I would be 300 lbs.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
