I'd strip it down to the frame bolt some 82 series sheet metal and fenders to it and call it a Case-IH.

Checked it out on Google, looks like it's missing the engine and hood. Should make a cool project. Just a FYI Shrewcub has a V-Tiwn diesel he is looking to sell.
http://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=39983 I moved this thread into the general section because this is not a Cub.

Be pretty neat! Don't know how hard it would be to remove the sheet metal and put cub over it. I'm sure some of it is part of the frame. Still it's nothing that can't be done, I'd say. Keep us posted!

Looks unstoppable: 4 wheel peel, articulating, awesome. Did it have an Onan in it originally? I'm thinking it will plow like crazy with some ags on it. Do you have the trencher part still or no?

It would make a good base, but if you want to use it, it won't have enough speed. Those units were hydraulic driven, not hydrostatic, and don't move more than maybe 2 or 3 mph. Probably have to make it a hydro to make it usable.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
