Picked this bad boy up this weekend. Scott will recognize it. It was in just too good of condition for me to pass up.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I also got a partial 3pt. I don't think the guy I bought it from knew to take the rest of the 3pt off the tractor that the tiller was on. He said the tractor was already sold. ![]() And misc parts from the various attachment kits for the tiller/3pt. ![]() I'll let you guys take some guesses what you would have paid for it if you were in the market for one. I think I got a decent price for it. But obviously more than some since it's in such good shape.

You can get a repro of the rest of the hitch from here.
Theoretically, the 3-point lift arms and stuff should have all stayed with the tractor it he was going to sell the tractor with a 3-point on it. That's a REALLY nice looking tiller. Looks like it was used once or twice. |

I have no guess, but I know I'd trade my mule drive style for it. So how much?

I think I saw that one on ebay last week, in WV? If it is, what did you end up paying? The starting bid was $600 with a buy it now of $1200, if I remember correctly. Looks in great shape.

It was on ebay, but in north central PA. I let the auction go and the guy didn't get any bids. I assume due to it's location. He's out in full blown farming country(saw tons of Kubotas out there), so I assume there's very little need for a smaller tiller.
I offered 450 and he came back with 550 and said it was as low as he could go. Due to what he'd paid for it and made off the tractor. So drove out there and picked it up. So I think I got a fair deal, probably a bit more than I should be paying for a rototiller. But once I finish out the hitch I'm hoping to get a lot of use out of it. Did I mention it runs like it's brand new? :biggrin2.gif:

I think that was a very good price. I have more than that in my Troybilt Horse.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
