Well I got the 105 all done to the stage that it can start doing some work. Snow blower is up and running and the mower deck just needs some some outrigger wheels and a jockey wheel then I can paint both. Tractor runs good but I find after a while it does fume a little bit out of the crank case breather, is that something I need to be concerned about? Any way here some latest pics of my first Cubby.

Looking good! How's that seat? I've been thinking about one like that for my main worker 125.
By the way, do you need a back panel for the fender pan? I've got tons of them. Pm me if you want one.

105 looks good! Going to be a great worker. As far as some smoke out of the breather, check your oil and the oil level to make sure that you did not overfill. If you are due for an oil change, before you change your oil use some Marvel Mystery Oil (MMO) in the crankcase, run it for a little bit and then drain it and refill with Pure Synthetic Oil (10w30), I find that pure synthetic oil tends to not smoke and it does not thermally break down. You can also run that MMO in your fuel to clean and lubricate the upper chambers of your engine. Follow manufacturer's specs for adding it.
Happy cubbin' Cub Cadet 123

Thanks for the kind comments, I will try that oil set up you mentioned @Cub Cadet 123 and the tires is what it came with, undecided which way to go with them. I could go tri ribs or turf tread or maybe ag tires, going to get some ag's for the rear, I work at a ATV salvage business and we have lots of them.

I like that model so much I have two 125's For snow removal, turfs ( preferably fluid weighted ) with wheel weights plus chains is your best bet. Narrows up front seem to steer better that wides. Ags will be fine for any other work except snow removal ) The only thing I would change on your 105 is to either add bolts to the front mounting holes or the QA pin plates that IHC made back in the day. ( I make them too ) ![]() click for bigger pic The additional pin or bolt will help with reducing flex and strain on the attachment. Jeff |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
