Default Cub 1862 Transmission

I have an 1862 in which one of the lines from the transmission to the steering cracked and leaked fluid. I put a new line on it, but was questioning what type of fluid is in the transmission. I will need to top it off and want to put in the proper fluid.

Looks as if I need to take off the seat to get to the filler tube and dip stick.

Sorry but who knows what is in it for fluid. Sounds like you should drain it, change the filter and then refill it. Slide the seat forward and tip it up to get at the fill tube.
