QA36A, QA42A on a 1710
Guys
I have a friend that wants to put a QA36A or QA42A Snowthrower on a 1710. This is the e-mail I got from him. Sam, do you have any info for mounting a snow thrower on a 1710. This unit came off a wide frame. I do have the proper pulley for the larger belt. So my question is what does he need and will it work?

Needs the 5/8 belt, the pulley (he says he has) and bent upper lift arms. Those got me going on my 782 & did the same for Dad's 1811.
Only thing I'm unsure of is the bracket for the manual lift arm.

What are "bent upper lift arms" ? I've never had a snow blower or thrower so I need a little more info. Pics would be a big help. I'm a rookie on this one. Thanks in advance.

The top two arms that mount the thrower to the mule drive will either be straight or bent, he needs the bent ones for it to work on that tractor.
