Default 44C deck spindle
What would be the easiest way to get this pulley off the spindle?

Hold the pulley with a box wrench and take the nut off with an impact wrench. Then it should just slide off the shaft, may need a little encouragement. Don't lose the square key.

Ok Thanks, I was afraid you might say that will need to pick up a bigger wrench. How would you get a box wrench on the center one?

I don't recall mine looking like that, but it's been a while. What you could do is put two nuts on the spindle side (the ones that tighten against the the mower blade),hold the first one with a box wrench, remove the pulley nut on the other side with an impact. The second nut should prevent the first one from moving.
