I found a front blade at the scrap yard and I want to mount it on my 1450.
Would somebody have the measurements of item # 12 & 9 in the drawing below.
As i would like to fab them.

looks pretty simple, But I dont have any plans. with that said, bolt pieces 14 and 15 (from ur pic) where they belong and to tractor. From where the next piece bolts on to piece(14). mock the plow up on blocks, a distance out from (14). make sure the plow dosnt hit when turned. then take that distance and make ur piece (12) ,drill holes to mount to(14) then make the piece that mounts to plow (9)and drill holes ,bolt it to (12)and plow! it dosnt have to be axact add a lil or subtract it will work !!! Ur done !!

Sasky,

I have those two parts sitting on my shelf. It may take me a few days(at least) but I could get you dimensions.

Jeff

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
