What he said. Normally blowing oil out the exhaust is a bad sign. Like a hole in a piston. Don't see a lot of issues with the Kawi engines.

Also pull the tins...I have seen a few of these overheat due to clogged cooling fins.. Like Sam stated with the piston, make sure you have compression in the Left Bank... Could be an out of spec valve lash or valve sealing issue... Start simple and work your way into it..

If you have stuck rings etc... you could squirt some marvel mystery oil after removing the spark plugs and let it sit over night and then fire it up in the morning and see if that helps.

Or try spraying seafoam into the air intake and let it sit for 15 mins and try starting the engine again...

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
