Let's see some vintage gas can's
Surely I'm not the only one that has vintage metal gas can's so let's see some pic's. Here's my two stancan's that I bought from a friends mom when she moved out of her old house, not bad for $5 each. I found a matching 1 gallon can on eBay I plan to buy for use with 2 stroke gas.

May have a red thinner can, doesn't look that nice. Got a used up can of IH penetrating oil, label is pretty rough. Even have a small can of IH oil kind of like 3-in-1 oil.
Sorry Tim, no vintage useable gas cans here.

Here's my SOHIO (Standard Oil of Ohio) can I bought new in 1976 when I was working at a SOHIO statio. BP bought out SOHIO in 1987. SOHIO also operated an oil burner service division as they also sold fuel oil for heating. My Dad was an oil burner serviceman for them in the 50's. My Mom used to tell us she wouldn't let him in the house with his work clothes on because of the smell.

Here's one from my Dad's old 2 cycle model 1948 Henry Disston 2 man chain saw days in the late 40's up to the present. It's an Eagle brand and has the oil measuring cup as part of the fill cap. We have lost the main cap and have to keep the spout installed for now. We still have the saw and it runs. Just scored a new set of clutch discs for it last year and have to get them installed yet. My boys can't wait to get it up and running and stuck into a log! I myself, had enough of that when I was a young buck!! It's HEAVY!!
