Default K321 crankshaft

I have a crank from a 14 hp K321 that is worn just past the limits of being usable with a std. connecting rod. It's about .002 under. I have searched repeatedly here in NY for a shop capable of grinding a small crank without luck. Does anyone know of a shop that they could recommend that I could ship the crank to? Perhaps a shop that you have used with good results? I welcome any suggestions you might have. Thanks in advance for your help. Stan

We send all our cranks to Pittsburgh crankshaft, they do about 30 cranks a year for us and we've never had an issue. Turn around time when I sent my k301 crank was about two weeks

Effingham Regrind does all mine..... and not just Kohlers. They have well over 50 years in crankshaft work.

Hey there is a machine shop not 1/8 mile from the Living History museum. It's called precision automotive. The guys name is Joe and he does fantastic work. I have had many Kohlers bored out at his shop as well as crank shafts turned. Get a hold of me and we can set something up. I as well have a couple cranks that need turning. We might be able to get a little discount having 3 done at a time. PM me your ph#

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
