Name that Part ?!?
I was out in the garage changing the oil on the Tahoe yesterday, when I saw the following part on the side of the garage floor.
IMG_4890n.jpg IMG_4891n.jpg It appears to have cub cadet yellow over spray on it and I don't have a clue where it goes or came from. The week before I was using my 1572 to blow out the driveway with the 450 snowblower on it. The length of the bushing approximate (I can't find my verniers either) 11/16, diameter = 5/8, ID = 7/16. Who knows what else may have fallen off and had gotten blown off into the yard by the snowblower.  Ant ideas anyone - especially those that may have done a full restoration.

Looks like a muffler shield spacer that goes on the k series engines.

Now that you mention it, it sort of does. Beats me where that would have come from. We had sold the 149 AT LEAST 15 years ago. With the part out in the open on the floor (but on the side) I figured it was from the 1572 which was just used.

Maybe spacers for the lower mounts to the 3 PT. or spacer for between the frame and fender support?

Don't know about the measurements, but it kinda looks like one of the spacers that hold a NF hydraulic lift bracket away from the frame.

Let me take a closer look. Thanks guys. I have the rear wheels off right now and I am putting on new brakes and rear braces. I will let you know what I find.

Sam, I found all the parts you mentioned in a previous post and they are still where they are supposed to be and that's good. I did find a couple loose bolts by the fuel tank support bracket and wrenched them in. I suspect they were not tightened when the dealer did some warranty work on it about 30 years ago. Age and moisture combined with the zinc plating to hold the bolt in its loosened state for all those years.
