Default New 2072

Hello everyone, well here is my new 2072 and man is it awesome.
Only went to look at it so that I would not regret missing out on something that looked nice in the pictures but in this case, the tractor was nicer than the actual pictures. EXTREMELY Clean tractor and very well taken care of.
Tractor has 514 hours on it but had the motor replaced at about 250 hours because the grandson ran a stick up into the PTO and the motor stopped running so the owner had the motor replaced and by the way gave me that old M20 motor that looks just fine. Tractor came with a PRISTINE 50 inch deck that was hardly used as well as the 54 inch hydraulic blade with 2 sets of wheel weights and brand new lug tires.
The only thing that I need to make this complete is to get a hitch of some kind for it. I only need a hitch for lifting and moving a trailer around, back and so good any more. Looked around at what I should buy and it seems like the RUEGG would be a good choice but that will have to wait for a while.
I’ll have to thin the herd a bit and sell a couple of other tractors to make room for this but it will be worth it for sure.
Thanks to Sam's post, I ordered a set of rear axle braces for it this morning.

Man that is one sharp machine! Take care of it and it could be the only 1 you need. Ruegg hitches are awesome

Thanks guys,
I have not had much time to work on that motor but it is complete.
Took the carb off of it tonight.
This weekend I will put oil in it, clean the carb and crank it over.

It really is the cleanest 2072 that I have come across.

I will send Ruegg an email tonight to get pricing.
Really don't need a three point but I need some kind of hydraulic lift and that looks like the best option.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
