Default My 1st Cub!

I just picked up my 1st Cub last weekend. It is a '68 or '69 125. It is in awesome shape and runs flawlessly. It came with 2 48" decks, a plow, wheel weights, chains and a second set of new mounted turf tires. I haven't yet checked the serial number to see if it is a '68 or '69. Sorry for not having a picture. Apparently, my picture isn't in the right format.

Congrats, hope it runs good for you. Sounds like a nice setup. I just got into IH Cubs recently. I got a good deal on three tractors and 1 deck. A 70, 71 and 72.
I have to always down size pictures to work here.

Hi, welcome to Only Cub Cadets! I just got a nice 125 last summer. They are a very nice garden tractor. You can find good information here, just try the search engine. I started a small thread on my 125 you can check it out!

My 125's serial number is 268812 so I believe she is a 1968 model. Sorry, still can't get the pictures to upload.

I run into this sometimes too. One trick I read was to crop them on your computer, then try. Seems to work. Standard .jpg images should work fine.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
