Where is the voltage regulator located on the 1210? Was unsuccessful with a google search and couldn't find it on this site. Thank you in advance.

Should be mounted on the flywheel shroud next to the coil. It's a rectifier/regulator. It has a 3 prong connector on it.

Yes and no. Located on fan shroud passenger side but just by itself, no coil there as it's a mag engine. Connector with 3 wires going to it.

The early 1210's had a coil and point system, the vr is located where the others had replied.

There were two productions of the 1210. The early model had a Kohler K301 engine, while the later production had a Kohler M12.
Both used this Voltage Regulator/Rectifier which was located on the Fan Shroud.

Yeah wow learn something new every day. Just rebuilt my M12 and lots of parts are k301 but didn't know a points version 301 was available in that series. Makes sense
