i have a nf125 with a hyd pump option on the side, not sure if i understand your question but the pump bolts to the frame on the starter side of the motor and the belt goes to the rear of the motor where the driveshaft connects there is a pully there, you will need to move the motor or driveshaft to get the belt on.

Yes, basically my question was "is there a easier way to install the belt without moving the motor."
Thanks |

I have a 124 and want to add the hydro I picked up a while back. All I am missing is the belt and some new hoses.
My engine pulley was damaged, but I picked up a new one not long ago. So it is getting close! I was looking at it this past weekend and the only way I see to do it is to pull the mounting bolts and slide the engine forward. If there is an easier way I would love to know before I dive into it. -Dave |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
