I have seen what would be considered abuse of the rules, especially in this forum. Has anyone else noticed this?
• All members are asked to respect the posts, viewpoints and opinions of others. You may disagree, but do so respectfully. • No personal attacks, insults, abuse, or flaming is allowed. Postings of this nature will be deleted. If you have a problem with a member, do so in the private arena, not on this Forum. If someone has abused you, then please report it to the Administration. |

![]() ![]() I have seen a few people with what I would call short on patience when answering questions and so on. I sorta wondered, why bothering answering if your gonna get pissy with the person.Or why bother commenting if the OP has a different view point? Looks a tad disrespectful at times but nothing I would report someone for.. Just my opinion as a newer member

I figured this post would get moved. The reason I posted it there was because it was specific to the IH Cub Cadet Tractors (GT) forum.

It's like playing golf. You never know when a sand trap, water hazard or forum troll is going to pop up. It makes the game more challenging and it's the price we pay for free advice.
And trolls have such tiny hands they're actually harmless.

Stick around guys.
Sometimes you have to just laugh, ignore and continue on because every forum has the type of issues you describe. |

I agree that it often is applicable in the Garden Tractor forum, even though Roland is correct that the topic is more suitable for here.
The behavior you mention grew here in the past few years. It was not a feature of the forum 4 or 5 years ago. There were a LOT more participants back then too. I wonder if the two phenomenon are related? ![]() It's the elephant in the OCC living room.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
