Default Finally!

After years of wishing we had a Harbor Freight it's finally coming true and the store will open on Tuesday. This store is going in our local mall which has been dying for years, we were also supposed to get a Rural King but the idiot mall owners didn't want to fix the a/c in that location so they backed out of the deal. It's going to be really nice having a store like this in the area, can't wait to go look around and spend some money.

You might be surprised at how little you buy since you already are well stocked with tools. Learn to use the "Super Coupon"-- you can print them from their website, often they are in the sale flyer when you walk in the door as well.
I picked up a new creeper and rolling shop stool from there this year. Don't think I bought any hand or power tools from them. I did pick up one of the larger tool boxes they are selling. Very nice quality and price. This was a "top box", weighed 180lbs I believe.

Search for the harbor freight coupon database. Theres a website and also an app which keeps track of all the current coupons. You can just show them the coupon on your phone and they'll scan it. Harbor freight is great as long as you don't set your expectations too high. Seems several people expect tool truck quality at Chinese prices and get upset when they fall short. I've been happy with almost everything I've ever bought there.

Thanks for the tip. I've been paying the Snap On guy weekly since I was 18 and I have doubles and triples of everything but I'm more interested in some of the specialty tools that might get used once a year and also things like jack stands and other shop equipment for at my house.

Insane right.. I've done the same pretty much since a little younger than 18.. I wish I had saved all my Snap-On, Mac, Matco etc receipts from the beginning. If your using them everyday its really a necessary evil. But like you said. Harbor Freight, and Northern tool is perfect for Home stuff and things I feel I probably will only use once or twice.

We have an SK guy that comes by the shop once a week now. He has some pretty good deals.

Good for you Tim.
Our closest is about 35 miles away. We have NOTHING up here in the sticks. But that's okay. Sometimes I think 35 miles is to close to a big town...
Leave most of the money home on your first visit. Even though their stuff is cheap (money wise) you can dump a pocket full in a hurry.

We got a Harbor Freight earlier this year.... prior to that the closest one was 50 miles away.. It's no fun anymore! Cause we have one that I can go to anytime now!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
