Default Rear forks

It’s maxed out but I made a lift frame that I can set at the entry height of my shed that allows me to slip generator into and transport to back of house for hook up when power is out! Pretty kewl set up. I can also make it a static platform by moving the lift brackets to the fixed pin that the sleeve hitch receiver mounts on. Need that to add weight to rear when using blade.

I love this tractor!!!

So to explain a little bit.
The forks bolt down to the lift frame. The lift frame can attach to the sleeve hitch shaft and articulate. Or you can pull the sleeve hitch brackets off the shaft and mount them to the two ends of the sleeve hitch receiver pin. I made a longer pin to attach brackets to both sides but the pick with the toolbox full of weight has bracket attached only on the left side. Still need to drill frame on the right to mount the other one. Makes for a really rigid platform to add weight to and be independent of your snow plow.

To haul generator, I bolt on the folks. To haul weight for plowing, I remove forks and attach toolbox and load in the weight.

It's a little overkill but it was cheap to make. lol.

With that gen on the back,,,
why don't you pull that tired old Kohler, and replace it with an electric motor??

One less engine to maintain,,, one less sooty old Kohler chugging out fumes,,,

All you would need is a 4 foot extension cord,,,

all you need to do is,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
