1650 Pump to Transmission Gasket
I need to replace the gasket between the pump and transmission on my 1650. Do I need to remove the unit from the frame and tip it up to do it? I have an engine hoist and I wasn't sure if I could just lift the front end as high as I could.

I just did mine a while back. I pulled the rearend out to do it. It's a tight fit trying to get to the bolts inside the frame with the rearend in. I put jack stands under the frame and used a floor jack to hold the rearend in place while it was unbolted, then just rolled it out from the tractor. It is easier to clean and get to everything this way but others just leave it in. I'm sure there will be others with ideas but to me this was the easiest way.
