Default IH Cub 104 update

I gotta say I'm happy with what I have here. This 104 was sitting in a pasture beside an old building for Lord only knows how many years. Took me over a year to get it from the guy. Good tune up deck rebuild some original parts from Ebay and a few cuss words and she is ready to mow the yard in the morning. Thanks for everyone's help over the last month or so.

Your 104 is looking great! Seat time on any of these machines is a great reward for a job well done.

I see you have your helper/side kick out there.

Bring back memories of my Son and I when he was that age. A job that would take 15 minutes myself would take 2 hours with my Son.

Best 2 hours I spent.

Merk,
Strikes a string in my heart.
That was how my father was,if it took 2 hours to do a 15 min job,so be it.
He taught me what I know and gave me the curiosity I still have today to learn way beyond his abilities.
I hope he knows how much I appreciate him over a half century after he has passed on.
So much of that is lost today with absentee parents.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
