Grease is the word!
I actually read the label of the grease for my grease gun and it said, "Do not mix grease types. Clean all old grease out before using." Well, I was in a hurry to mow before the rain came and I loaded and shot the zerks full before mowing. I've talked to a couple of people and they said, "No foul", but I just wanted to check before using it in my other cubs......I'd rather clean out one before cleaning out the whole fleet!! Anyone know if it is okay to shoot different grease into the fittings? When I say different, I mean, from blue colored grease to dark gray grease to red grease, etc... Thanks in advance for your response!!

Thats a new one on me
 I usually use the same type and brand of grease all the time, but when i get a used piece of equipment i just start using my grease. I have no idea what someone else used in it before me.

I don't mix and match per say I used synthetic mobil 1 usually but I started to use lucas red and tacky #2 for the jet drive on the boat so I use it for everything else.
Just use a good quality grease and you should be good to go.

It's not like mixing different brands of engine oil. No harm will come from different grease.

All I have to say is google Mixing Different Greases and judge for yourself. There are not to many greases that are compatible with one another.
