so I want?need more light than the old school lights are capable of on my 149. how much load can the generator take? are modern lights such as light bar style lights too much ? Also planning a sprayer using a 275 Gallon ibc tote. Can I run a fuel pump from a vehicle off the generator also? or stick with a gear driven idea ? Thanks in advance!!

I would not try to use over 300 watts of anything on a continuous basis,,
I would be OK with 500 watts intermittent,, like a sprayer, or fuel pump,,, LED lights that pull 100 watts will light up the neighborhood!! ![]()

The 149 has a S/G that is rated at 15 Amps MAX. With that in mind, 180 Watts (12V x 15A = 180W) would be the maximum for continuous duty.

Go LED. They're available on Amazon and they are super bright with much less current (like 15% of the current of the incandescent ).
If you add any accessories, make sure you fuse the power run (that should be taken from the battery terminals). If you have an ammeter, watch it when you activate the accessory. 275 gallons ?? That's 2,200 lbs! I'd think long and hard about pulling that, because you're not going to easily STOP that.

Yea I didnt plan on filling it..😁 I get these totes that have only had deionized water in them from work for free. So naturally I have to make something with it. I figure 50 to 80 gallons or so at a time will suffice. I also had planned on led lights. I wasn't sure of the output so knowing do and wont surpass the 180 continuous watts...thanks for the input guys |

I'll go get some LEDs...now to put them in the original headlight placement or use a bar style....as much as I hate to alter the original stuff I'm thinking using the original space modify a plate to hold new style add a rear light also. I have a fuel pump brand new that I couldnt use off my Nissan truck I'm thinking or wiring up for the sprayer. I have nozzles already....this should be superior to just drilling holes in the pipe and gravity feeding.

There's some really nice LED lights that are made for the original form factor sealed beams. Cheap too.

If it is equivalent to a PAR36 bulb, then yes.

The specs says operating volts range 12 volts AC/DC so it seems like you are good to go!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
