2518 neutral linkage missing something
I'd like to fix my transmission neutral lever - the one that allows me to roll the tractor. It seems to be connected to nothing.
Here is a picture. The rod in the picture is the rod which is manipulated from the rear of the tractor. The bracket it attaches to by the filter seems to bend up and down a little when you try to manipulate the rod, but it doesn't do anything else. I am assuming someone (previous owner) removed something that actually puts the transmisison into netural. There is nothing else connected to the rod from the rear of the rod where you handle it, up to the bracket seen in this picture. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction for getting this working?  I've seen this, but , I don't recognize what I am looking at, as in, it doesn't look what I see on mine. https://www.ereplacementparts.com/cu...39_533942.html
