Keeps throwing deck belt off. New belt, all pulleys are good, tension spring is new. Spindle bearings seem to be good,they spin easily and no noise. This is the third belt and it just came off. Tried mowing at different heights and makes no difference. Open to suggestions from anyone. Thanks

Can't say I've ever seen yer little type of lawnmower, much less worked on one.
But looking @ cubcadet parts lookup on our header page, it appears yer deck has 2 idlers, 1 is fixed and the other is on a movable assembly with attached tension spring. I would first insure that both idler bearings are in good shape,then insure that the idler mounts are in good shape and not bent out of intended position. The belt should run in, or close to, the center of the idlers. Also insure that the tension idler pivot is lubricated and not worn out. I would also look at the belt in operation, being careful not to put yourself in harms way, but watch the belt to see if it seems to be following it's intended path on the idlers/pulleys. These suggestions are just what one would do to diagnose a belt problem you describe. Also you made no mention of the belts you are purchasing. Most run of the mill HWD store belts are useless in a lawn/garden application. Some applications they work fine, others, not worth a shit. Lets us know what you find, as it helps others.

The non CC belt did not have the right pitch, therefore it would not set down deep enough into the pulleys, riding high and with a frozen idler kept throwing the belt.
