Default new tires for tractor?

Has anyone used atv tires on their tractor? Interco makes "tsl vampires" and are a very aggressive tread and are 4ply.These are a very popular tire here but, only see them on atv's.
They come in all sizes even 26x12.00-12. www.intercotire.com. I am hopefully gonna be in need of some lug tires before long. Just a thought for something a little different. If you lok these up please respond back as to what you think. Thanks guys. Charles Wilkerson...

I'd say if you don't have your differential locked, it shouldn't tear up the yard like an atv will.

I have used these tires on my mowing tractor and have not had any bad luck with them as far as ripping up the sod.
The extra traction they provide helps get through the wet slippery spots without spinning and they do not leave the tire marks in the lawn like the turf tires do after mowing.
Those peskey tire tracks you see for the next couple of days after mowing the grass.

Thanks for the responses. I'm gonna be using this for gardening only so im not gonna be in the yard that much. My main concern is will they be to much tire for the gears? Im definitely wanting a lug of some sort. Again thanks. Charles Wilkerson...

Not sure what cub you have but I'm thinking that it would take alot of weight and traction for it to be too much for the gears. I was plowing with the 782 and got hung up on a big root from a tree along the side of the field. I had enough traction that by the time I reached to pull the hydro to neutral, my front end was about 3 feet off the ground and climbing. It has lugs loaded with 140lbs of beet juice and 50lbs of wheel weights and my 220lbs. I hope i understood your question correctly!

I have a 982 with 26x12.00-12 tires. Im looking for a good tire with alot ALOT of lug. My local store here has some deestones in stock for $85.00 each. Im still lookin at maybe some carlisle lugs. I really like the duros as well.
It looks like the atv tires are alot more aggressive, "tsl vampires" at www.interco.com? i just dont know what i want, thats the biggest problem. im only gonna use this for plowing in the garden, no lawn care.. take a look at these tires and tell me what you think.
Your tractor is raising the front wheels, WOW now thats what i want.I dont know what else a person could ask. What kind of tires are you running if you dont mind my asking?
Will the rearend lock for a positive track without alot of work ? Mine looks like a limited slip or something.

Your link has nothing to do with tires.

As aagitch says it's WEIGHT.

If you want lugs try the Tru-powers.

Don't worry about your gears, I've more than abused my 982 and you'll lose traction before you break something.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
