Fuel System Coach Needed !
If I am posting this in the wrong section, please redirect me.
The fuel system on my 1811 Cub is got a glitch(es). Will only run at full choke and consequently not full power. Fuel pump was rebuilt a couple years ago, last year the carburetor would stick closed (so after a week or so of not using, it would start , use all the fuel in the float bowl and would not restart , until I either took the carb apart, blew air into the fuel hose, or remembered to turn off the fuel and run the bowl dry). I have had the carb apart many times, blowing out whatever with carb cleaner, but still experiencing the choke problem. The M18 Kohler uses a Walbro carb, fixed - non-adjustable load/high speed type carburetor. Any ideas/suggestions, appreciated. Thanks Dick

shut the tank line off and remove line from carb,then turn back on into can and make sure you have good flow,could be the sock on the tank inlet is pluged.

It also might be a good idea to swap out that Walbro carb for an adjustable carb from a KT17 Kohler. I did that with my M18 and it's MUCH better!
