Default CC2072 Deck does not come all the way down Help

Looking for some help. I have a 2072 which I plowed with this past winter. I think I hit some ice or something hard while plowing. Upon trying to put the mower deck on the lift does not come down flush with the mower deck and the depth indicator shows it not to be all the way down. Upon inspecting the functioning of the cylinder, it appears to go all the way in and out. Also, the pins do not appear to be sheared and nothing overtly obvious looks to be bent. I suspect something is bent however short of replacing all parts I am not sure I can diagnose it. The tractor has low hours and is perfect in every other way. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

Access a parts manual (top of page) and compare what you have to the diagrams , thats a good starting point

I'm thinking you sheered a pin on the rockshaft assembly. IIRC there is a pin keeping part #1 & #2 together. If you sheered that pin it will cause your problem.

Thank you all, I have checked the cam for adjustment and have ruled that out. I am wondering if I did break a shear pin however I had thought that would be obvious by looking at it and the lift would not move at all. I am going to inspect this further.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
