I have a model 71 with a rear pto that spins backwards what good does that do? Is it common to have a pto on this unit? I love this occ site. Jim

Glad to have you as a member of Only Cub Cadets.net. ! I believe they do spin that way. Cant tell you much about them. What do you have to run off it?

YUP....the rear PTO does spin backwards. Not good for anything but the "cool" factor.

You could search for the very rare reverser or look for a right angle drive and run old belt driven machinery. I have heard tell of a ice cream mixer as well.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
