Default I Finally Found it (sort of)

I have been wanting a John Deere 455 every since I saw one. But instead I found this:

A 1995 John Deere 445 - Basically a 455 but with a gas engine instead of the diesel engine. 22 hp liquid cooled Kawasaki engine, fuel injected, dual hydraulics, 18 inch front tires, 26 inch rear tires, 60 inch deck, tilt wheel, power steering, differential lock - a beast of a tractor weighing in at over 1000 lbs. It has a lot of hours, a few cosmetic flaws, but runs great. I pick it up next weekend.

GREAT FIND T-MO. Esp with the bagger!

I would also love to snatch up a 455. I have my eyes peeled back open everyday. I too love the diesels. I have an older JD 332. Its one of the best things Ive ever purchased. You know about my 882 Cub and I also have a Ford LGT 16D. Love all of them and really want to find some more. Like a 782D. That would be awesome to have a Red and to have a Yellow and White Diesel Pair!!

That's a good price on a 455 - but still too high for me. I found this 445 at a price I could afford and justify. Unfortunately the 3 point kit is pretty expensive - but if I can modify the rock shaft, I might be able to make my own. I have a rear blade that is set up for a 3 point hitch.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
