Default Allright, got the goods!!

Well went to pick up the blade/rake this morning and ended up hanging out with Dan(Dan Moore Farms) for a couple hours:biggrin2.gif:. He gave me a tour of his property and all I can say is I was blown away, I mean totally floored. He has a ton of tractors, from 1800's to 50's mainly. I'll post pics in the General Talk section here. Ok, ended up getting an unbelievable deal on all the stuff in the pics!! Got the rake/blade which is in awesome condition:biggrin2.gif:. The 402d series E Haban sickle mower with all the parts and that is in very good condition too! Picked up the starter/gen(that works), 3 point, qa blower gearbox that is in great condition for an extra $50 and will be going back in a week or 2 to buy my first HYDRO!!!

Can't wait to see that sickle bar in action.
I would love one of those for mowing ditches.
I know it would need modified to allow more than 90deg. movement.
But still... The bar mower is too COOL!!!!

Nice score Sminkey

Your welcome up this way anytime Jeff!! Mizar, I think it'll be a bit of challenge to get hooked and setup! I've got the manual for it though so I should be alright. Man, my shop is starting to get a little crowded:biggrin2.gif:

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
