Default 682 snow blade

Got a snow blade for my 682 wondering where the lift rod attaches to the handle? I've searched the web and found nothing. Do i need to fab something to the handle or do they actually make a lift bracket i can buy somewhere?
Thanks

The 682 does not have that hole in the lift arm as shown on page 6.
I have a 582 and was wondering the same metalrain.
Here is a brochure showing one mounted on a 582 .

yup....my 682 (red one) does not have a place on the handle to attach the rod....just a straight handle. Thats why i was wondering if they made a lift bracket you bolt on.

There is a bracket that clamps onto the lift handle that you'll need. It's #11 in this picture:

It is part number 703-0672 and unfortunately is NLA, but it wouldn't be hard to make...it's a simple part.

Sorry, I didn't realize that in the 82 Series they went back to the older style of Lift Handle. I don't own a 682 and didn't know.

This is what I found in the CPE Catalog.

I don't have a picture of mine right now. BUT, I just took a piece of 1/4 or 1/2 thick aluminum about 2x3 or so. drill 4 holes for 2 u-bolts to hold it to the lift arm. Then drill a hole for the lift rod to the plow.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
