Default Latest Finds

Hi, I hope that everyone had a safe and happy holiday! I thought that I'd share some of my latest finds with you. I just purchased some Brinly attachments.
#1. A Cat. O 3-pt 12" moldboard plow.

#2. A craftsman 3-pt hitch, sleeve hitch and a 10" sleeve hitch moldboard plow.

Though the plow clearly says craftsman, I believe that it will work with the cub's sleeve hitch. I think I'll try to sell or trade the 3-pt hitch and sleeve hitch in order to get cub equipment, but I'll keep the plow.

I also wound up buying a cultivator for a walk-behind Bolens tractor too, but that's another story.

FFGino Happy Cubbing!

I'm pretty sure that your Craftsman plow was made by Brinly and yes, it will work fine on your Cub sleeve hitch adapter.

Gino, sweet finds!! I would love to find a 149 or 169 so I can start looking for attachments too. If you come across anything, let me know. I'm in Ohio....(oops, maybe a bad thing to say to you after yesterday's big game) lol
Thanks for sharing!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
