Default E-Bay gripe

Is it just me, or are any of you out there are annoyed with Sellers that won't list the "location" of where they are. Just when you get interested in something, one looks at the location and it says "United States". Like Duh....what in the hell are you so paranoid about that you can't post a City and State in your listing.

I have been trying to rationalize this behavior and can only come up with paranoia.

Since these people are hiding from something, I pass on my interest.

I am I missing something here..??

The only way around that I found, is sort by distance from you. it is sure a pain when it is local pick only and the seller don't list at least the nearest city/state.

Thats why I always sort by nearest first, at least that way I know if its close enough to go look at first.

I'm right with you... It seems like everything (blades, tiller) I'm interested in now, everyone who has one lives in Nowehere, USA. I'll send them a message asking if they ship, they I get a smart reply back acting like I'm stupid. More than once I've replied back stating if they would have listed their location to begin with I would have never thought about spending my money with them to begin with.

I will not even consider buying anything from anyone on epay that does not list there location. I have to assume that seller is either too dumb to understand why listing there location is important (especially on pick-up only items) or they are trying to hide something. Either way that makes them someone I don't want to do business with.

I'd have to agree with you all. Just wondering....gcbailey....you ever had anyone answer you back after you give them a jab of reality and common sense??

Here is another one to deal with - not really a thing to bitch about, because I can certainly see where they are coming from. Myself being in Canada, you'd be surprised the number of people that either don't beleive I am interested in something or have absolutely NO faith that I will show up to pick the item up with cash in hand. I guess that is mostly because they have been burnt before. But I have no issues of telling people where I am, heck if I want to buy something I am honest with the seller and hope they are honest with me too!? Oh well, I guess that is one big draw back I just have to get used to with doing cross border shopping?

Mike, I've only had one person reply back with an answer. It was a guy who ended up being in Tennessee, about 2 hours away from me. It was for a 125 back last summer. No one bid on the tractor and he gave me a "well if you want to come get it, I'd would be more than happy to help you load it or anything..." after his first rude email. I informed him that I was on my way to make a 6.5 hour trip to NY to get a much better looking 127.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
